Does anyone else feel like since it’s September, it should automatically be Fall? The smells, the cooler weather, the colors, the FOODS! I LOVE FALL. The old me would have been at Starbucks bright and early before work every morning and even sometimes back for a second after lunch. I used to depend on coffee just to get me through the day. That was pre-kids, which is laugh worthy, because now I know what being tired really is. Can anyone else relate?? Anyways, their Cinnamon Dolce Latte was one I ordered regularly. I was craving that same fall cinnamon taste, so I made my own much healthier version.
Introducing my CLEAN Cinnamon Dolce Latte.
1 hot cup of coffee
1 tsp organic unrefined coconut oil
1 tsp organic coconut sugar
1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tbsp organic half n half
Blend until frothy. Drink while still warm. Reheat if necessary.
Using coconut oil in your coffee has MANY benefits.
- Long lasting energy
- Boosts brain function
- Reduces appetite
- Kills harmful bacteria & Yeast
- Helps to lose fat, especially in the abdomen area .
Something to know about coconut oil…since coconut oil remains solid at room temperature, if your coffee starts to get cold it will form a layer over top… which isn’t ideal. ( Yuck! )
