Let’s just be honest here, mamas. Sometimes, we miss going out, we miss getting our dance on, we miss having a life outside of “mama”. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE that title and the little people who have given it to me, but I do miss the night’s I danced my badonk off. Actually, most of my dancing was done to hip hop and house music, I never really learned how to dance to country music.
Last year, I went to Nashville Tennessee for our yearly business convention for Beachbody. It was AMAZING. Live country music everywhere, great food, and an incredible downtown nightlife. Although I was pretty sleepy earlier than I am proud of , I had a blast. I got my first taste of line dancing and loved every minute of it. I realized two things. 1. I have two left feet when trying to follow steps. 2. I wanted to learn how to line dance so I could rock it the next time. Thankfully we reserved a night at the Wildhorse Saloon and had a live tutorial so I managed and couldn’t remove the huge smile from my face.
With 2 little kids, running a business from home, and also working as a hair stylist I don’t get out nearly as much as I would like to. This is where this fun program comes in. I sweat my butt off and have a great time!
